The last time an NFL team successfully made a fair catch kick (what the 49ers attempted at the end of the 2nd quarter) was in 1976. I'm not sure if that was posted or not during the telecast. I don't remember.

-1 point for my fantasy football team. Dawson completely shanking his first kick cost me 6 points....

Thank god this one didn't come down to it...

But why didn't we take a kicker in the draft??

Michael Silver:

Just walked to the bus with joe staley. He's fine. Hearing his fellow linemen goof on him for his initial reaction to injury was priceless

Tim Kawakami:

Joe Staley was walking w/just a minor limp in the locker room & Alex Boone was howling with laughter mimicking Staley's on-field bellows.

T.J. McDonald suffered a fractured leg and is likely done for the year. Matt Giordano probably takes his place for the rest of the year. He started 13 games and 9 games the last two years in Oakland and that's about it for extensive playing time for him since his younger days. He started 1, 4, and 1 games his 2nd, 3rd and 4th years while in Indy during the 2006-2008 seasons but that's it.

I don't get why Bradford's been so bad. He seems to have all the tools.

Supposedly, Gore wore his football pads up to the podium tonight. I missed almost all the coverage after the game so I don't know most of what went on except for what got posted on the internet.

Huh? More often than not losing a franchise LT doesn't end well for a team, let alone one that has already been decimated with injuries. If Staley is ok, we'll be ok.

Oh ok. Just read the last sentence of your earlier quote and noticed you were a Seahawk fan and couldn't piece it together

He did. He also joked about having some words with Harbaugh again later (Gore followed Harbaugh on the interview podium)

San Francisco 49ers twitter:

For the first time since 2001, the #49ers had three different running backs score a rushing TD in the same game.
