You talking about moving Allen?
Just joking around.

If Allen doesn't want to be here, yes.
His attitude was horrible last year and he said he was sick of it.

Could have been just a moment of frustration but who knows.

If he isn't on board with being here, sure...lets move him.

Meh. Mariotta isn’t all that. Keep him for what we got. Make mariotta beat him out.

Peters wants the picks now. Agree Mariotta isnt all that

Wasn't going to happen here Sam. Would have been weird having back to back NC QBs on the roster. I liked Sam in college and hope things work out for him. Who did Seattle bring in as the OC.?

Washington is front loaded:
one 1st
two 2nds
three 3rds
No 4th
two 5th's
No 6th
one 7th

Are they going to wheel and deal or pick where they are at now?

I doubt we select 6 players in the top 100. I think we are moving up into the first for OT.
Great!

Now let us know about 100 more times.

How about signing smith?

I think it's going to depend on the board. If all the Qbs go early, I think we can let the draft come to us. If the tackles start flying off the board, they might want to pick up the phone and make a call or two.

I would have to think that addressing the OLine at the tackle spots is first on the list.

Almost seems Peters is trying to get rid of everything from the rivera era.

Meaning at #2? Or #36?

Is there a tackle worth the #2 pick?

I dont watch college football at all, and you guys dont suggest there is one worth #2.

Howell was not great to ok behind a shit oline with shit coaching.

Mariotta or rookie behind better o line with better coaching is an improvement?

Totally depends on the rookie, no?

How many OT's you think will go in the first round?

I think that 2nd pick is a qb for sure now.

The tackle spot must be addressed.

To me, that means Wylie is traded or cut. He wad terrible.

I think peters will move on the OLine last.

So duke, in your opinion, are daniels or maye or williams ready to start behind our unproven oline?

Serious question, becaue I dont know shit about any of them.

That's the beauty of it, we can do what ever we need to do. 67m this year still available, not including the draft and 102m available in 2025 right now.

If someone falls and evey year someone does (Jon Allen ex.) at least we will have the ammo to go get him.

Don't forget to count the 6 new FAs Sportrac has at the bottom of the list with no salaries yet. We have less than we have been counting. I have been waiting for them to update that. Even so there is still a fair amount in cap room.

A bunch. Honestly, there will be a tackle available at 36, just not sure of the value at that point.

The line now...no.

I prefer daniels as he is the better player to me. Daniels is the better athlete and runner. He is much better on the move.

That being said, here is where we are as we speak

LT... nobody
LG Allegretti..first time starter. Showed promise as a reserve on the chiefs.
C Biadasz...very solid. Dependable
RG cosmi..very solid. Dependable
RT Wylie...bottom 10 RT in the league

To me, we need a LT obviously and a RT.
No clue on how peters gets that done.

I can see the 36th pick being the LT and DJ Humphreys being the RT after he signs with us. Trent brown could also be signed to play RT.

I dont get this trade.

Mariotta cant be counted on to start, and if he does start, he’s a significant downgrade from Howell.

We’re gonna start a rookie? Is Daniels ready to start? Is Maye? Are we gonna get another vet qb?

Behind what oline?

Yiiiiikkes.

And why we give up two picks and Howell for two picks?

Feels like Seattle got a proven ok nfl starter for pennies.

Doesnt make that much sense to me, but what the hell do I know.

Here's my take. Trading Howell removes the media creating a storyline/distraction.

Also, there's a chance we move back into the first, and an extra 3rd helps.

Finally Mariota is good enough to protect a lead, and if you've seen his documentary on netflix, he's going to mentor but also push for the starting job. No rookie will assume he's won it from jump around him

I let PFF run a mock without me and made them use the public big board instead of theirs. This is what they spit out.

Mariota protect a lead? Hope so. Didn't watch the Netflix thing, but didn't he walk out on Atlanta?

Is he the guy that's like 180lbs.?
I dont think so. I know you didn't throw his way in the sec and he could thump.

6ft 190 per draft profile.
