Yep. It's always a crapshoot when you trade for prospects, but if you get it right, you can turn your club around. If you are gonna trade a guy like Sale, you have to get a kid like Moncada, but I'd also want a kid with #1 starter stuff more than a bottom of the rotation type. This trade will help the Red Sox this season, but the White Sox may be ecstatic with the deal...four years from now lol

Moncada is the #1 or #2 prospect in the league. He's going to dominate. Good trade for the ChiSox.

Possibly, but I think if an offer like that was ever available they would have taken it easily. This happens before pretty much any major trade is formed and agreed to.

I like what the White Sox did in landing Moncada, think he's a legit cornerstone type of player if he lives up to his potential. The other prospects added some more potential and depth in their system, and the fact that they got Moncada's contract paid off helps.

Now they should go all in and deal Frazier, Abreu, Quintana and Robertson and just stack the young talent.
