While I think they were screwed by the non-call they still had a chance to win. Blaming the ref can only go so far. They had the lead with less than 2 minutes left and they got the ball first in OT.

The play calling after they got the long pass and the ball around the 15 was atrocious. 1st and ten, inside the 20, with less than 2 minutes and you call a short slant? Horrible. That whole series was bad play calling, punctuated by a bad no-call.

The Rams season ticket hokders should sue the NFL for the refs missing the "blatant" facemask on Goff in the redzone, that would have given the Rams a 1st and goal.

There are very very few instances of a missed PI call that was as blatant as the one in the Saints game.
There is a reason why it is still in the headlines 2 days later.

What fan would not be hoping that this results in a change of the rules.

What would be so bad giving each team 1 challenge of a PI call or non call per game?

Yes and yet the Saints fan bitch and moan about a non call not going they way. I have been watching the NFL for 65 years and I have seen plenty of non-calls on my team. Did/do I get mad, sure but I never did act like some of these Saint fans. I learned years ago that bad calls are part of the game. If a fan would look at the "whole" from the 1st quarter until the end, they will see bad calls on both teams.
