He better get good fast. I really don't think Pelini can withstand any more blow out losses.

edit: unless he turns the corner by the end of this season.

Yeah. Pelini needs to finish strong for once. He's never gone better than 50% his last 4 games.

Not sure if he will be that DT for Bo. Honestly, things need to improve in the program or he is coaching his last games for the Huskers.

But V² will still be here. :yahoo:

I hope your right the two gap has to have a dominate Dt

Should we juice up VV??

Not lined up in the gap, lined up directly across from OLs. 2 gap

edit: Actually the bottom 2 directly across from the offensive lineman. Top 2 appear to be in the gap. Don't know.

They're rumored to be experimenting with split 1 and 2 gap fronts, in some instances no 2 gap at all, not that the awesome game they had was affected by it whatsoever

their all 1 freakin yard off the ball, i can't believe any coach would teach that to his kids, that's like a guaranteed at least 1 yard on any running play. I just don't get it and would love someone to explain it to me.

I read somewhere and im paraphrasing a great deal here but it said something about getting a running start at the Oline for more of a push and also giving the D front a split second more to possibly tip what the playcall is

Not agreeing with it, just what I read

Translation: They need a running start because they're not physical.

Also, the O-line gets a nice downhill start on running plays. :L

yea, it works both ways, the o-line gets that same start. Plus on passing downs, you are giving them that much more time to get in position. I said it somewhere maybe this thread maybe another, but WYO tackles were getting such a good drop on pass protection, it took forever for our DE to even get to the point of contact and by the time they did, the dude had position and was able to block them with ease. Also if they are going to do this, they need to move as soon as the ball moves, but if you review tape, they were slower than crap off the ball.
