We'll see. I so bad don't want to expect anything good but at the same time I'm thinking, maybe, just maybe.
I have got my hopes up so many times to get them dashed in the worst possible way.
It's like Pelini is Lucy and I'm Charlie Brown.

And I'll kick that fucking ball this time!!!

Where were we in PPG RA?

That's just more of Bo's distraction from the facts.

4 losses per year and Blowouts are the signature of this team. It's a 3rd tier program.

Not how I recalled it

We've been on a sharp downhill trajectory since the big man left, the absolute bottom has yet to be determined

I'm not in meltdown yet, Ill hide and watch to see if these glaring issues can be cleaned up over the next few games

I'm not gonna meltdown bc the writing is already on the wall

Big 12 offense were stupid and simply thought they can pass on anybody and not need a running game. Now teams are trying to be balanced/smart and it's exposing bo plan of bend but not break.

Bo has to update his defense teams aren't being stubborn anymore

I could easily see this season going the way of 2007 where the players just throw in the towel in frustration after fans start emptying the stadium early.

It will be the end of 'contain and bend but don't break' for sure.

I don't wanna see a 2007 season defense wise where we had to score every time we touched the ball
Too much pressure

But

I don't see bo changing shit in two weeks best bet is I'm hoping the experience of the month of October will help us for the nov run. But ucla looks to put 30 on us. All those excuse they are feed us now makes me shake my head Wyoming isn't gonna go 9-10 wins this season they play in the MWC for reason 602 is bad no matter how you spin it. If bo wants to make believers he need to shutout or only allows 10pts against southern miss but that won't happen they will be good for 17-20 pts head coach is okie st OC last year.

I'm just hoping the player get deep into that play book and chemistry builds fast !

I really don't know whether the coaches actually believe the pre-season hype they spew or not. They might.

The defense probably does look pretty decent in practice considering they're seeing the same offense day in and day out. They're put up against an over manned scout team in other scenarios.

How does one effectively evaluate O and D lines who are in the same S&C program?

Even the BTN analysts were fooled.

The real test/evaluation comes when they meet an opponent they haven't played, who has a different scheme, and a different S&C program. In this instance it was lowly Wyoming.

Pelini doesn't seem to spend practice week preparing well for the upcoming opponent at all. The proof was in how many times Nebraska was down by double digits at halftime last season. At least 4-5 times?

The product on Saturday was a complete abomination.

The coaches need a sack, then maybe they could sit down and think up some better strategeries

When V² gets his groove on the 2 Gap will once again be brilliant. You can't run it without a dominant DT. I think V² is that DT. Just not yet.

Not sure if he will be that DT for Bo. Honestly, things need to improve in the program or he is coaching his last games for the Huskers.

But V² will still be here. :yahoo:

He better get good fast. I really don't think Pelini can withstand any more blow out losses.

edit: unless he turns the corner by the end of this season.

edit2: Beat me to it

You know VV doesn't need to be as dominant as Dorsey or Suh. He just needs to be good enough to get this defense into the 25-30 ish ranking in the major categories.

The offense should take care of the rest. (Barring penalties and turnovers).
