Sabres VS Jets GNT

Well the Sabres lost a tough one Sunday after coming back from two goals down to take the lead over the Pens only to watch the Pens score the go ahead goal with two minutes left in the game.

Tonight they play the Jets a team that they should beat at home when they NEED a victory.

The Sabres are a crappy 4-6-0 and the Jets 3-7-0 in their last 10 games.

Well it looks like Ruff is going to fuck with the line up tonight. Listening to the guys on the pre game show and they are baffled that it seems that he now has Stafford in his dog house and will drop him down to the third or forth line and put Kaleta in his spot.

The baffling thing is Stafford scored his first goal of the season recently and the line of Ennis, Foligno and Stafford has played well lately. Ennis has 8 points in his last 7 games 3g 5a so makes sense to break up the line right? and Leopold will sit and T.J. Brennan will get the start over him on D. I agree with this move Leopold has been a pylon lately.

I have no idea who is in goal tonight, Maybe Ruff can get one of the beer vendors from the 300 level to do it. For a coach that talks about chemistry some of his moves seem like that of a desperate man.

Oh well. Good luck to the Jets and their fans but not tonight.

Damn, I was really hoping Stafford would score there because the Sabres won't do shit on the PP.

Then again, I knew Stafford wasn't going to score either. He already scored his 1 goal, and will be good for at least another 20 games or so.

I watched the first period differently was watching the team away from the ice and to me they look tentative. They hesitate to pinch or not they clear the zone too soon and get no sustained pressure. It's like they are afraid to make a mistake to me.
