I was almost right.

That was a hard fought game. I thought both teams played relatively well defensively and both goalies were solid as in the previous game. Good luck until next time Sabres.

Thanks to all for the GNT. My game night experience was walking out the door of work, asking two guys in Caps' jerseys if we won, and well, that was it. Nice to get a little flavor of the game.

I could only listen to the game, but it sounded like the Caps were the better team in the first period up to their 3rd goal in the early 2nd period.

After that, the Sabres really started to pour it on, but Neuvirth was pretty amazing IMO.

He won that game for the Caps for sure.

I'm just watching the 3rd period...Washington dominating so far on both ends until about halfway through, but I have a feeling that is about to change.
