If this guy is healthy he is the go to guy for the Cowboys
Go back and watch his college film

Awesome player if healthy and I think the Boys stanched him on IR last uear

It would not surprise me at all if he is the Bell Cow RB when the season starts .

Again JMHO

I remember hearing he turned down a chance to be on another teams active roster but I didn't know it was 10 times. WOW...that has to be a record.

I thought williams was better than randle. Why not try goodley at RB in training camp? McFadden and Dunbar seem injury prone. Goodley is built like a back

I had heard several teams, but a Number was never attached to it. That is what makes/made me think someone must have said something to Ryan last year about this year, for him to pass on so many opportunities.

I think Ryan Williams will be given every shot to earn the starting RB job in training camp. I would expect McFadden would be his prime competition for the starting job. I don't think the organization wants to give the job to Randle's dumb ass.

I'm not as sold as others here on Williams. When the smoke clears I think Randle has the lead. Yes he's a knucklehead but I think he's the best back currently on this team. I've been wrong before so we'll see.

I don't think any of us have any idea. Let training camp sort it out, see who gets cut from other teams, see if we need to bring in a vet that's out of work, tough to tell. I agree that I think Randle will be our "number 1" but I really think it will be a true running back by committee.

Competition for snaps. Best man wins. Williams has just as good a shot as the others IMO.

I think Chris Johnson is an intriguing fit for Dallas. The guy has proven to be pretty durable over the years, and managed a 4.3ypc last year for the Jets. He may not have that 4.2x speed he used to, but Johnson can still fly. I think he would be a better version of McFadden.

My guess is McFadden is the odd man out. He's never been a bell cow and gets hurt relatively easily. When the raiders give up on you you're probably finished. I have ZERO faith in him.....if he makes the active roster I'll be surprised.

I think McFadden will get every chance early. If he can't get it done behind this OL, he just doesn't have it any more. If he can do the job, I think the Cowboys will give him 16/18 carries per game, and Randle/Williams/Dunbar will combine for 10-12 more

I haven't a clue but I think McFadden is given every opportunity to be the lead dog. Staying upright has always been his problem. He's actually pretty good blocking LB's and certainly can catch the football outa the backfield. Running the football isn't much a concern behind this line and I don't recall if he has issues holding on to the ball.

If this line is as good as we think it can be any RB can fall on first contact and still average 4+ YPC.

Forget about the big seasons for a second. Did you watch him play last year? The year before? He's done IMO. I have no problem bringing in Johnson or anyone else to compete as long as there is no guaranteed money, but I don't know if he could beat any of these guys out based on what he has done lately
