I actually really like boyett as a player. I thought he stood a chance to really develop into a decent player.

Agree= He was great at Oregon. Good ball skills, hit well. No fear type of player... Just mentally I guess he was a bit off.

P.S. Eugene Robinson has to hate Denver.

Lost nearly everytime he played us when he was with Seattle.

Lost two Super Bowls to us (Packers, Falcons)

This is why the draft evaluation process is so difficult. A player can look the part on the field, have all the right measurables, but still bust in the NFL because they just don't have the head or the heart to make it. I look at a guy like Latimer in I watched all of his Indiana games and the guy has incredible WR skills. I hardly ever saw him lose a jump ball battle and hardly drop a single pass. Just incredible hands. Seems like so far though the game has been too much for him mentally to be a consistent contributor. I'm hoping a 2nd year in the same system finally will help him to have the mental side catch up with the physical side.

That and if you are in manning Dog house I believe you kind of stay there .. He expects perfection ... Hell looks like even DT was kind of headed to the dog house..
