fun fact: the Louisville Cardinals are named after the cardinal because it's the state bird of Kentucky... it's also the state bird of six other states, and Louisville is right in the middle of all seven of them. No bird is the state bird of more states than the cardinal. States in red are the states that have the cardinal as their state bird...
