Rutgers is one of the few teams on Louisville's schedule that can give them a game.

keep an eye on the monstrous 6-6/220 RS junior WR Brandon Coleman, #17 for Rutgers. He's projected as a high draft pick (for example, Dane Brugler of CBS currently has him going #28 overall in the 1st Round to the 49ers in his mock draft). for his career so far at Rutgers he has 75 catches for 1,490 yards, 18 TD (and set the Rutgers school record for TDs in a season last year). Scout.com: "The 6-6, 220-pound condor is a nightmare for opposing defensive backs who must contend with his size and his looping gait... At 6-6 and 220 pounds, he enjoys an enormous physical advantage on each defender who lines up opposite him. Coleman’s long limbs allow him to gallop through the secondary, and calmly pluck the ball out of the air. He’s a mismatch every time he runs a pass pattern, especially when the end zone comes into focus...Coleman will be tormenting defensive backs with his long limbs and even longer stride. He could be a candidate for national honors."

fun fact: the Louisville Cardinals are named after the cardinal because it's the state bird of Kentucky... it's also the state bird of six other states, and Louisville is right in the middle of all seven of them. the Rutgers QB is junior Gary Nova, who has started 23 career games at Rutgers and is 420 of 757 for 5,419 yards, 46 TD, 29 INT (he only had 4 interceptions last year)
as a recruit, he was rated the #11 pro-style by Rivals, #12 pro-style by 247, and the #17 overall QB by ESPN

also keep an eye on soph WR Leonte Carroo, #4 for Rutgers. He's currently #4 in the nation with 7 TD receptions and #12 in the nation with a 20.79 avg gain per catch. Scout.com before this season started: "Among the younger wideouts, none has a higher ceiling than 6-1, 200-pound sophomore Leonte Carroo. The four-star gem from a year ago has the size, speed and toughness to conjure up memories of a young Mohamed Sanu. Carroo is poised to become an impact player on the outside as early as this fall.
