Without question he was in 2012, 2013 and halfway through 2014. He has had historic stretch runs throughout his career, but the overall team is always better when he is the game manager. Like I equates earlier, he is a modern day Brett Favre in every way, except Brett Favre through the ball past 10 yards or more which is where both throws INT’s.

I am not taking anything away from Wilson but when 90% of the cap was spent on everything but the QB he made 2 Super Bowls at least the divisional round of the playoffs. Since then it has made what 1 divisional playoff round game.

Sure, but when Carroll has reigned him in, the defense gets better and if he wants to end up top 5 of all time that is a proven way for him to end up there. It is up to him, does his peak want to be Brees where his height is always going to cause issues so he just becomes a stat guy or does he really want to be like Brady, or hell even Eli where he isn’t the focal point. Brady’s best numbers seasons he lost the Super Bowl and Eli got carried and had a couple of miraculous throws like Russ did to Kearse in the 2013 NFC CCG and the throw leading up to the pick in Super Bowl 49.
