No, but really, Runningbacks don't matter.

Lot of truth to that...Connor goes out last night...2 plays later Samuels, the rookie rb scores.

Ideally your RB needs to be able to pick up the blitz, hit the hole the play is designed to be run, and catch a pass as an outlet receiver every now and then, be available most of the time.

Special RBs obviously do some or all of those things exceptionally well, but I consider it a bonus, not a necessity to have a franchise RB.

Of course RBs matter. But the argument that, for the most part, you can get one in later rounds is not bad. Yes, some truly elite guys like Zeke and Gurley make a huge difference and justify top 10 draft status. But then you have the James Conners and Phillip Lindsays of the world. RB Corey Clement had 100 yards receiving and a TD in the Super Bowl. He was an undrafted free agent.
