How was our run defense today against Buffalo, was it any better?

96 yds on 26 carries. I would say that was good. 155 total yards. Not bad on pass defense either.
2 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries. Looks like the defense is in stride to start the season. Buffalo only had the ball for 21min for the game.

i think our defense will be much improved this year

perhaps a jump to middle of the pack

What I liked about our defense was that Redskin jersey's around the ball on every play. It seemed that every time a guy was jumping over the pile to not get a penalty. Just never giving up on the play. Just like on the Jenkins sack. He was pushed to his face, but keep fighting and made the sack. The DB's played really well, but the rook's need to learn to wrap up better. We also need to get away from the penalties. 6 for 106 yards. Over 17yrds per penalty. My prediction is that we will be around 11 to 14 on total defense this year, anything better and we are in the NFC championship game (as long as RGIII, Garcon and Davis can stay healthy.)
