Gronk is a douche, but in a special-ed kinda way

Lawrie is a douche, but in an asshole kinda way

Gronk isn't a douche. Everyone likes him. He's just in his own little world. I don't think he's smart enough to be a douche.

He should have seen where Escobar was and known that there was no chance at a DP.

He set up for a force, not a DP

you agree, you just cant admit it.

There's no doubt I'd be pissed if Bogaerts, Pedroia or superstar SS Brock Holt were injured on a take out play and I'd analyze the fuck out of the play. But to my earlier point - it's all hindsight. Escobar doesn't tweak his knee at most we're talking about Lawrie being a dick but we don't call the play dirty.

Gronk is the happy goofy drunk. Lawrie is the belligerent drunk.

the irony of a royals fan using that picture to describe others is thick

yeah, new to baseball.

Not familiar with Mr. Cub?
Also remember Dick Allen smoking while juggling baseballs in the ChiSox dugout.

I'm guessing you got interested when Jay Z brought Cano to Seattle?

if royals fans on here are indicative of the fanbase, then just wow.

Gonna need some deeper explanation, please

Provide it or leave the thread forever.

even yanks/red sox fans wouldn't whine this long over what happened with oakland.

i hope the punks on the team and the fanbase as a whole mature a little over this year.

again, congrats on the success. maybe acting like a world series team and fanbase will happen, and maybe it won't. time will tell.

The Royals are just as much of a surprise team as any. They lost their best pitcher in the off season, lost their closer to an injury and lost Billy Butler. Their rotation is average at best on paper (Ventura is the best pitcher going into the season and he had less than 200 career innings). Four of their starters have ERAs above 4.80. Their infield is filled with players that haven't lived up to their hype (Moustakas, Hosmer, Escobar) and their best player is a relief pitcher (Davis).

Maybe it is just me, but it is a shock that they are 11-3 and leading the majors in run differential (+35)

I'm reading the rest of this thread and I have to say, 14 games into the season and the Royals fans have turned into a bunch of divas. When your team sucked, you used to be the classiest of fans. Now you are worse than the Yankee fans.

I can't believe that douche Ventura emptied the benches AGAIN tonight. That's 3 starts in a row where he has had an incident. This one made no sense at all. Yelling at Trout. Taunting Eaton. Drilling Lawrie. Ventura is a fucking idiot.
