Until he rampages through the Heat in the ECF...and still loses the series but he will look like Wilt Russell in there against the MIA front court.
His quickly become a scrub.
i always said that roy hibbert was overrated if he wasnt playing on a great team nobody would know his name how he made the all star team over al jefferson was CRIME
He is good 1-on-1 and rotational defender.
He keeps guys out of the paint and forces a lot of lower percentage jumpshots.
He is the most important anchor piece of a great defensive unit and a PERFECT fit.
Those types of contributions are not as obvious as simply tallying Rebounds.
Making a wing slasher pull up 2-3 feet early doesn't show up in the boxscore.
But, it might be more valuable.
His primary job is to deter guys like Lebron and Wade from getting to the rim.
If he brings down 7-8 boards, that is a bonus.
He is a very good player that everyone posting would love to have as their center.
He is mediocre and probably one the most overrated players in the league. I have been saying this for awhile, but he is great against the Heat.
He is a regular 11 point guy, against the Heat he gets 25.
