And we don't run the Eagles offense
With Vrabel, McDaniels and Marrone, we don't know what the offense will be.
and again Jeanty is no Barkely
Curious what you mean by that? Because Barkley is 3" taller and 15 lbs heavier?
Or because he played for Boise instead of Penn State?
Or because he was runner up for the Heisman and Barkley was....Third runner up (4th overall).
Or because he averaged 6.4 yards per over 750 attempts for 4,769 yards versus 5.7/672/3843 (50TD/43TD)?

I have said multiple times the level of competition is concerning to me. Heisman is a fucking joke I would never use that as a measurement, they might as well get rid of that. Height and weight yeah that could make a difference I guess but then I remember Maurice Jones Drew had a pretty good career.

Look a lot of people like Jeanty at 4, that poll I created supports that, I do not, I do not want to take a RB at #4 I have stated why on multiple occasions and given more that one reason why I feel that way. I could be 100% wrong on this, and if we draft him I sure as hell hope that I am.

Not sure he would be considered the greatest O Line coach
If he is not then it is only due to hair splitting
I am sure Jeanty is not the best offensive weapon LOL,

The potential best 'weapon' just might be Tet McMillan. Everyone has picked his game apart and constantly warned against him because of N'Keal Harry. Tet is 6'5" 212# and can stretch the field. With Diggs on one side, Pop in the slot and Bourne, Polk or Baker across the seam, they could challenge any defense. That and McMillan played volleyball to increase his leg strength and improve his vertical leaps. If he's not drafted by by #20, you'll all be crying in your soup when KC trades up to take him.
Toooo Slooow.

Yeah Blount had a great season but that is not the norm for his system.
And a system that never changes is a system that is easy to predict. Just sayin.
For the most part he gears toward short, quick passes to quick mobile WRs that can get some YAC.
Or a James White type that can catch.
Loves having big TEs and the RB is more a 3rd down threat as needed or used to set up the pass game. There are always exceptions, and I don't think drafting in round one a potential expectation is where we need to be.
Run to set up the pass.

And this begs the question is Marrone half to O Line coach Scar was? If not then you better get the most talented guy vs a potential guy that Marrone might not be able to coach up like Scar could.

Damn ten more day's and we can end all the speculation and start bantering back and forth about the selections. Same dance different tune
Marrone was a good enough Oline coach to get himself a HC position.

Agree with this.

I just don't see the value in this draft at LT at #4. Sure, Will Campbell IS A LT even with 32-15/16" arms.
But he is not Joe Alt level LT. Jeanty may not be Barry Sanders/Bo Jackson, but he is closer to that than any of this years crop of LT's is to Munoz or Ogden.

Regardless of where he played.

And two fumbles. Point is he faced a decent defense a decent team and had some issues. Which is again why I have reservations.
Penn State was way better than decent and they focused only on stopping Jeanty. They made it personal.

Of course and if he's a great as people seem to think the NFL will do the same.

The NFL does this to every NFL team. That's what separates them from college. After that it comes down to talent, scheme and execution. Best football players and coaches in the world going head to head. BB was a master at taking away the best player. So that isn't a good reason not to select him.
