Jeanty is so much better Hampton or Judkins. There is a reason he’s predicted to be a top 6 pick. Hampton might go end of round 1. Watching film on both, Hampton looks slow. There’s a reason why most scouts consider him generational. Haven’t seen that word used for Hampton.
Yeah we know people like the kid I still question his level of competition and I question that he is that much better than the other two. Especially in this pass happy NFL. all you really need is a back to add balance

Then why draft a back at all? If you want balance.. Stevenson and Gibson do that. If you want a back that changes what defenses game plan for you draft Jeanty. Our average backs take no game planning for. Opens everything up for Maye.

Jeanty can’t help who they play. But the 2 top 20 teams they did play he averaged over 200 yards per game. I think that’s pretty good.

I'll admit I'm intrigued by Jeanty. He could be a miss, but if he's not? Wow!

I definitely understand questioning the level of competition. Boise State didn’t play SEC type of football. He just has that “it” factor. No one besides Hunter and Carter have that. If everyone is questioning the OL because their arms are too short or he’s only played right tackle… Go for the most for sure thing in the draft.

Stevenson had issues holding onto the ball. And we did not have McDaniel's last year. I agree RB is not a top priority which is why I like Kaleb Johnson further down the draft. We know he can't help who the play, but that is who the played

Im surprised three people wanted Jeanty
I am not.

Campbell may be the best T in this years draft, but the difference between the best T and the 5th best T is not huge.
The difference between Jeanty and the #2 RB is substantial.

I would agree. Campbell in last year's draft probably would have went in the mid teens and would have been tackle probably 5. Jeanty is most likely a top-10 pick in most drafts.

I disagree both backs from OSU are not that far apart. Ill stick with the mindset of time will tell. Nuimbers look great when your playing sub par teams

Shit. Put Jeanty on any SEC or Big 10 team and he would have broken Barry Sanders rushing record. Who did he have on Boise to take away any pressure or game planning? No QB. No WR’s. No OLineman.

Penn State played Ohio State and Boise State…. Can you guess which RB had over 100 yards rushing? Neither of those Buckeyes did. And look at their offense. Loaded. Can’t just focus on 1 person like you can Jeanty. But he out rushed both and was one of 2 players to rush for over 100 yards on them last year.

But nevermind every scout and draft expert saying he’s special. What do these guys know. Could he be a bust in the NFL…. Sure every single player has that chance. But if the Patriots are selecting “Best player available” like Wolf has claimed… Jeanty is that player. Not even close

He also racked up almost 200 yds against the OR Ducks.
