He isn't the same type of QB, but I believe he will end up being as mediocre as Siemian.

As far as the type of QB, he sounds like Cutler at top potential and Lynch at bottom. Big arm but needs to improve football IQ. Seen this show before and it has yet to end well for us.

At one point he was my front runner at #10... Dipped on him a smidge prior to the draft but would have still be happy with him at 20.

I love it in round 2... Love it way more then I loved Paxton Lynch and Brock Osweiler, I wasn't a Osweiler downer when we drafted him, but wasn't excited for the most part... Was crying when we took Paxton. Not crying tonight.

I think we've already filled 2 holes at TE and OL, so giving up a 4th and 6th to move up and get Lock is not bad at all. I wasn't too high on Lock, but to get him here is good value. Well worth the risk.

I'm just trying something new. I've been excited every time we've taken a QB recently (except for maybe Zac Dysert) and end up disappointed. End up being wrong about him. Hopefully I'll be wrong again, but this time because I expected him to be worse than he turns out.

Also, I just cannot get excited for any QB that Elway reportedly loves. Hope I'm just being cynical.

I think we go DB next. Hard to tell this early on value.

I wish Chauncey Gardner-Johnson or Amani Hooker would be the next pick for us.

At 42 we got a QBOTF prospect and a guy who Mingo can spell his name right to me its a win win. .

Can't complain - from my view - taking Lock with the 42 pick. Scangarello has two years to get Lock to stop hopping around before he throws the ball. The offense ought to be friendly for his skills - and he is the same type QB as Flacco in skill set.

He was great at Iowa State. Not great explosion but for his size, good long range speed. Can go deep. Not real strong.
