Maybe Joe Thomas is right, NFL Draft is a soap opera and the rookies are the actors. It's becoming too much TMZ for me. Only good part was Kay Adams last night.

Funny how people get different stories.. I was told both he and Jonathan Allen checked out with very little concern on their injuries.

According to USA Today's Tom Pelissero, teams believe 49ers first-round ILB Reuben Foster will require a second shoulder surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff.

He's already in the midst of recovering from the first one following Alabama's season, and coach Nick Saban, speaking after last night's first round, expressed frustration with Foster's decision to not consult Dr. James Andrews, instead going to a different doctor. Another NFL exec thinks Foster could be a serious problem off the field outside of Alabama, where he had people to "hold his hand." He won't get that in the NFL. While the Foster pick at 31 for the 49ers has widely been praised, there are an excess of red flags that could make it backfire.

I am going to think of the Bolles pick as filling out our LT for the next 10 years (He is our next Ryan Clady) . This way I can now look at the draft in a positive light going into the last rounds.

Clady didn't last 10 years. Bolles maybe 25 years old, but he has had less wear and tear than most football players.

W Foster, theres not one flag that stands out, but several little ones. I feel good about passing on him for Jarrad Davis. Davis just has one flag - that ankle, while everything else looks money. Hope our docs did their homework.

The main thing I took away from Bolles last night was that he seems to eager to learn. Obviously at 25 he's older than most rookies who come into the league but that also means he's likely more mature and focused on playing football and helping his team over the "I just turned 22 and am super rich so lets party" mentality guys seems to have.

I agree with Duffman .

Bolles reminds me of Derek Wolfe - for some reason. Simple country boys - strong as a bull.

The Broncos better be able to establish the run game - without that threat - protecting the QB is going to be rough - while Bolles gets coached up. Bolles is an athletic freak - and Davidson is considered a great coach - so get after it.

I'd love to have Mixon, but would prefer Curtis Samuels if he falls far enough in the next round.

I tend to think solder Lepsis ... very athletic LTs with average bases. Downside... Schofield circa 2015. I wonder if a call to Gibbs was made at all... guess I don't necessarily believe we have the best ol coaching either as we've really struggled developing guys.

Well we did just higher a completely new OL coaching staff. So far they have had decent success everywhere they have gone.

Sucks that we had to take a position of need but if Bolles lives up to his "nasty" reputation, I will live. Of course I've found that regardless of what the Broncos do, I still live. I just wish that they would consider my feelings and emotions every once in awhile.
