He will face a 295 lb center, and two 315 lb guards against Alabama. Is there any chance that Rose will be able to keep from getting knocked down on running plays? In the 3-3-5 the nose is the key position. If Rose can hold his position, we are good, if he gets overpowered, we will need to commit a safety to the run game.

In the past, our 3-3-5 worked best when the nose tackle was good. ie chris Nield.

He could just fall down and clog up the middle.

Seen him at the Charleston practice. Lets just say he stands out in a crowd. I was around some HS players that were there and got an up close and personal look at him on the field. Their words? "He big, He REAL big"

So judging by the piece on radio this morning it sounds like Jackson is running at #2 NT. That's exciting when you think of how much our defense subs in the Big12. That's a big ol NT boys, I like it!
