It seriously can't get any better than that......
A walk-on who grew up loving the Huskers........you come in as a 3rd string QB and throw a Hail Mary to win the game and save the season.
He has a Fucking Huge belly
Tito couldn't make that throw
Sure he could. He has done it many times. Of course the pattern is usually a short crossing route, and the ball ends up 49 yards down field.
The pass was exactly what you want in a hail mary. The catch in a hail mary is almost always luck. Keep it up in the air unitl someone can catch it. Defense knock it down before someone can catch it.
This time it went our way but if RKIII couldn't throw that pass 55 yards across the field it would of never been a chance to get lucky. Matter of fact if Ameer didn't fight for that first down he would of never had a chance to throw the ball for the lucky catch.
And if Westercamp wasn't alert he wouldn't of made the catch of the lucky deflection.
So yeah it was luck but it was also so much more than luck.
I love RK tonight, enough to name him starter next week.
So you are of the opinion that, that was something other than luck?
Thanks for the support Pops, before you know it I may the man down on the white lines
