It helps that he has a top 5 (possibly top 3) wideout and he finally has a real offensive line. I will give him this, there was a 3 or 4 year span there where he had no help from the offensive line, he was getting fucking smacked on every single play. He's a tough son of a bitch. However, I'm not sure his body and mind are in the same spot right now. Maybe mentally he'll be better but I don't see his body aging well.

Every quarterback either says this or a coach will say it at some point. I have seen the Bears coach say many of times that Cutler is looking the best he has ever looked.


In Denver Manning's arm is stronger than even last year.


I could go on with other quarterbacks and the things that have been said. Some of it might be true but a lot of it is just somebody blowing smoke up your you know what.

What was the question though? If the question was solely about him, how he feels, how he would evaluate himself etc. then there isn't much issue with him talking about himself.

I'm guessing this was not just something he went and just started telling someone. My guess is there was a question about his back and how it was holding up. So he answered saying this. Yes I guess he could have talked about his team but I'm guessing they asked about him personally and what kind of shape his body is in. I mean if he says "No comment" that just lets reporters run wild with whatever they want that to me so my guess is he said this to squelch anything dealing with whether his back surgery would affect his game or not.

No way do they cut him. 14 will be only the second year of his extension. In 15, he has a 27.5 mil cap hit or 27.5 mil in dead money if he's cut.

I never mentioned him being cut. I think Romo will have a bad season and Dallas will begin to look to the future at the QB position. The best thing that could happen for the 'Boys would be for JJ to hire a GM and get the ball rolling to becoming contenders again.
