Matty, I think it's just a reminder that there are no guarantees in life and just because you have a job today doesn't mean you'll have a job tomorrow. I experienced something along those lines late last year (although I had a little bit of a heads-up from other people) that my time at BC Hydro was coming to an end. Luckily, I have a skill set that is still in quite high demand and I was able to land another opportunity in pretty short order (less than a month after being let go). The other important thing is to build up a nest egg (if possible) to fall back on when unemployment rears its ugly head.

If cmac does indeed join the canucks in media relations noone can say he didnt earn it with his past year full of brown nosing the team.

Never hosted a show but as boss (station director) put himself on the air to wash rinse repeat on bennings balls day in and day out.
