This is a really good summary of the Packers completely botching their situation with a hall of fame quarterback.My point is, if the front office for Green Bay had been proactive, they would have gotten way more than 2 seconds for him. Trading him coming off of an MVP in 21' than the mediocre season he had in 22' would have been better for the bottom line of both teams given the cliff that Russ fell off of.
In fact, they had been setting up moving on from him and didn't until it was too late and he forced his way out. This was a day that was coming down the line the second they drafted Love. Extending him was a mistake that they shouldn't have made.
