Why the fuck is Baltimore making a tour of the NL West. All these games could be played against AL East opponents to make them mean something. As it is, they are virtual exhibition games. Yes, you want the win but beating the opponent means little or nothing.

If you dig deep enough, can't you say the same about non-divisional games? you want the win, but texas beating the Twins doesn't mean a lot. yeah we could see them early in the playoffs, guess that is a good reason to beat em. But same can be said of the WS.

Well, of course they do! They're playing the sport by a different set of rules. The NL is playing the game the way it was designed to be played.
