Know there aren't many metal fans on this board but if there are any with Priest tix for an upcoming show I'd figure I'd give a warning as a public service.

Just got back from their concert (actually walked out after the fifth song). If you have tickets to this tour and you can get close to face value SELL THEM.

Band comes out and I couldn't recognize any of them. I bought the tickets because I heard that Glen Tipton was touring with them but it was 4 guys I've never seen before. Kind of brushed it off because I'm sure they're accomplished enough and have mad chops to be pulling off a Judas Priest tour.

Halford starts singing. Nothing but a bunch of auto-tune bs and he's wandering around like a guy with dementia that stumbled across a heavy metal show. . Kind of made my stomach turn, but I figured that the quality musicians around him would make up for it. That didn't happen. They had two guys on flying v guitars, one of them blond with long hair, playing it just like KK Downing would play it. Not just the sound or style (which was clearly not his, he was obviously just there to do a KK Downing impersonation) but the outfit and the stage presence as well. So after 5 songs of that BS I figured that they already stole my money so I'm not going to let them steal my time as well.

The HUGE saving grace of the whole thing was Saxon because they absolutely killed it. If you're a Saxon fan then it might be worth the cost (I mean they absolutely hammered it) but if you're going there to watch Judas Priest it wouldn't be worth your time if it were free.

Ive never been a Priest fan, have maybe 3 at the very of their most songs on my playlist........Ive never planned on going to one of their concerts, nor will I ever now.......

Same goes for motley crue, back about 10 yrs ago,the wife-n-I went to Vegas to see that at the Hard rock casino,I was a big fan, wife was not,but anyways,it was like the 4th or 5th song that played before I knew what the hell they were singing.....the concert was so bad,the wife went outside to smoke a cigarette and I stood at the bar........Who the hell does that a concert.

just plain downright horrible.

I've seen Priest three times the first time in 1986 the last being in 2011, top three Metal Bands of all time for me but ya can't do it forever so I have no interest seeing them again if it's just Halford and a bunch of who knows... I am just fine listening to Priest on my Polk Audio's...

Saw them last month in Newark, Glen Tipton played on a few songs. They sounded pretty good to me

I love Priest, but loathe stadium tours. Can't stand seeing music in a ginormous sports arena. I mean, it's gotta be the ghost of Jimi Hendrix performing for me to be ok with it. I wanted to go see em' at Las Rageous, it just didn't work out. I live in BFE and it's somewhat of a big deal for me to go see shows...bummed tho, as Priest is one of my faves.
