Problem...wirh houston.is..they.are going.south..
We have definitely sent the Astro's a message... We're 8-2 against them this season, while winning all 3 series...An M's win and a Rangers loss. I remember when they started the season hot and a lot of people where talking about the rangers and Diamondbacks but baseball is a long marathon brotha. Now we are bascially in the neck of the race between the Astros and Rangers. I love how we swept Houston to send a message that we aren't scared, they had a team meeting after the sweep.
Yes, but I think (not speaking for him) I think it is more of who gets left out because Kelenic is back and is a lefty. Marlowe, a lefty has earned a spot, Canzone is a lefty, then it also looks like Teo and France are starting their heaters again. So it is going to be very interesting on how they handle rotating the 3 lefties cause really it isn’t good for Kelenic, Teo or France to platoon.Don't rosters expand September 1st?
That is the way .to handle it ...Yes, but I think (not speaking for him) I think it is more of who gets left out because Kelenic is back and is a lefty. Ideally Kelenic could DH so there is less wear on his foot but I think DH for Kelenic would be the worst thing possible for him mentally. Teo to DH is another option but not full time cause they have to keep Raleigh’s legs fresh too.
It is an interesting dilemma to have where after a few years on Jerry preaching DH isn’t a real position he will get (hopefully) to say I told you so.
Yes but you can only add two and I am almost 100% positive they will want those two to be pitchers. They are always thin at reliever. But that is a good point. I forgot how close we were to September. My days all blend together these days.Don't rosters expand September 1st?
