Skip made it sound precautionary Said it was tightness in the lat. I wouldn't bank on him getting a lot of innings down the stretch.

But it was the same injury that kept him from starting the season on time last year. Give him all the time he needs and make him healthy enough to trade in the offseason.

Was up at our cabin most of the week so didn't have much time to post in here... But hey! What a helluva a week in a great way! Sweep of the Astros is always a great thing... 8-2 for the season is even better... 3 games out of 1st place... Texas falling like they normally do this time of the year... Our eyes are fixed 1st place - not just being content with a WC spot... Fun to watch them right now... Our bullpen OTOH? Yikes! Needs to improve or some of these close games will end up being an, "L"...

I will say, that Houston series...What a ride!

But now I see why the Royals series was such a series of coronaries waiting to happen. People make a big deal when a favored team "plays down to the competition," and maybe we did do quite a bit of that in KC, but maybe for a purpose.

Could be we were saving our strengths for Houston at that time?
