Yeah, we've seen this movie before. Actually every year.

They have spells where they look like they can't beat anyone and just overall play terrible baseball.

They have spells where they get hot and maybe a bit lucky and go on win streaks that can remind you of 2001. Only they don't last the whole season like it did that year.

I will always be happy about these streaks and winning spells, but I'm never going to take them for more than that. It's just one of those small windows in the season where watching them doesn't totally suck.

And just like that, the window slams shut.
Listened to the first 4 innings on the drive home from work. All those baserunning blunders and weak fielding. Glad it's on Apple so I didn't have to be tempted to watch the end of it.

Funny, before getting on here I watched some Tacoma highlights and asked myself, "What is the difference between JP Crawford and Jack Lopez?". Watch Lopez highlights. He is a defensive stud (which I said in spring as well). So what if he can't hi. Either can JP.
