Bayley won't be winning much of anything for a while, from what I've seen. Read/heard they're pretty much done with her and have soured on her pretty quickly.

That's a possibility. HHH was negotiating with Rousey again over the past few days. They were big on Asuka/Paige but it looks like that storyline may have been dropped a few weeks ago. What was believed to be a stinger suffered during a live event in Uniondale NY. Appears like it may have been worse than they thought. They canceled Paiges live events. And it's looking like she's out for the Rumble. Also Rumors they may either give Asuka the belt before the Ruble and pull her from it. And lead towards Asuka/Rousey. Asuka/Bliss. Or potentially a Nia feud with Asuka and or Bliss. From what I've heard paiges most recent injury shifted a lot of storylines

Meta-story wise, it would make sense for Bryan to come back here. Philly is the place where everyone wanted him to win the Rumble, but he wasn't even in it and Reigns won instead and they booed the shit of him. Since its back in Philly, they could make amends by having Bryan be #30 and winning. Or...more likely, they'll do what Bruce Pritchard suggested, just troll the shit out of Philly by having Roman dominate the whole thing and win again. That's what I think is gonna happen

Some people are thinking he has been cleared, and that it's being kept a secret for shock effect.

In recent weeks, they showed him getting dropkicked by his wife on Total Divas (when she wanted to start training again after giving birth), and at Clash of Champions he was pushed by KO and fell over Shane-O-Mac in the ring.

Showing/having him do physical things on TV might be a sign of something...

I'd put him in NXT. I don't think he's a big enough name to put him in the Rumble. I could easily see a total dud of a reaction if they went that route.

It's hard to say, I mean on one hand he's no AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, etc but on the other he was TNA's biggest star for awhile and if a good size chunk of people know the Matt Hardy "Delete" persona then they're definitely gonna know EC3.

It's tough to say. If it was a random Raw in Sacramento I think it'd be crickets but a Rumble crowd in Philly is mostly diehards. I don't think it'd be an epic reaction ala AJ at his first Rumble but I think he'd get a good response.
I do agree he fits better as an NXT guy first

Sucks he got injured but if he was healthy I would have considered calling him up from NXT before Mania and have him beat Styles for the title.
I can't believe how good he got in the couple of years outside of WWE
