So to sum up. Oklahoma State has played the better schedule, Oklahoma State has beat the better teams, SEC officials, coaches and fans are against rematches ( see 2006's uproar) and SEC officials, coaches and fans are 100% OK with teams playing for national titles with losses to average teams ( see 2003 LSU, 2007 LSU, 2008 Florida).
