Yeah he is well respected, so he had to be eliminated rather swiftly.
Also just read all the defensive linemen signed could be cut next year with very little penalty.

On a shitty DL clearly the best 2 were Baker and RJF. Ziggy Hood? LMAO. Does smell of a political move, what a train wreck this team is.

You really have to have your head in the sand not to believe this was a results of RJF's critical comments. Especially from this petty, vindictive organization.

@skinsdad62 As I said in the other thread do you finally understand why quotes come from unnamed sources? As I have tried to explain to you people know if they put their name to critical comments this could happen to them too. Maybe RJF was cut for other reasons, just maybe. But players don't know for sure so why put yourself at risk by being quoted? This hardly means their comments should be dismissed, it just means they don't want the possibility of this happening to them.

If anything an unnamed source will be more accurate as they know they will be protected. When they are quoted you get bullshit like "I am in Jim Zorn's corner, he's a great coach".

You are not realizing that Hood has to play our of position last year at NT. Hood had a solid season for what he had to do. RJF was way overpaid. I don't mind him being cut at all. He was a SM guy did very little for our team. Wasn't worth the money at all.

You still wont admit that there was no upside to Baker. That is why there was no offer made. These two new guys will be more productive than Baker and RJF. Plus if the cut of RJF leads to us getting Hankins then it was a brilliant move.

YOu are right Dean, RJF was over paid and we just paid about the same amount for a guy who had LESS production than him. But because the Redskins signed McGee... you see all this upside. To you Baker had no upside, because there is no upside in being the teams most productive Dlineman I guess.

Dean I have said it before and i will say it again, you hear the names that all the talking heads are up in arms about and you swoon. Ziggy hood was a first round draft pick, he must be good, Phil Taylor was a first round draft pick... perfect. If Hankins signs else where, will you switch your object of desire to Poe??
