It's a theory. One MB guy came over & said it was to transition to replacing the mods kicked out w/some MB mods, then move it into a MB "lite" then to pay.

A few years ago, they suddenly restricted to people to 1-3 posts a day max. Then blamed it on a "glitch" Oddly, the glitch is still in place.

There was some controversy at the time whether the shield holders got a pass on that restriction. Not sure we ever knew for certain.

Shields never had it. It was a "glitch" to keep out spammers.

What's really sad to me is look at the fundraiser for T. Almost all the identifiable donations are from people over here. If we'd still been there, we would have been pushing that thing near the limit by now.

Big8rules got banned??? what the hell, he was the calmest, most level headed poster on the board.

He posted after the first couple rounds of banning and said he had posted a couple of times on the TCU board and expected to be banned.

but besides the Mod we all know -

LSU (the shield protects) did not get bannt, nor did aladrew, correct. Drew is still alive on rivals.
he avoided banning,
there are 1 or 2 others, will remember soon, who often talk about surviving TCU,
i will recall eventually,

I think the first round was the people that posted on the TCU Board. The second round was the people who told the admin to get screwed on Rivals and even people that talked about it.

The 3rd round was people that said things on this board. This is where it gets interesting. Someone was reading this board and pointing a laser for kill shots over there.

It’s not hard to figure out who it was.
