By the way, a weird LB and Oregon connection I found out a while back. He and others from his team were the subjects of a book (and interviewed for ) ‘Horns, Hogs and Nixon’s Coming’ . The book was authored by Terry Frei whose Dad was the Ducks HC in the years LB played for Royal.

LB and I went a few rounds when I first came on Rivals about why Arkansas left the SWC. Of course I was ignorant of who he was and how much he knew about the Hogs/Horns rivalry. I was instilled at birth a healthy hate for all things Texas.

I forfeited my privileges to lurk there. There are a lot of smart posters over there but I guess I mostly saw the “you’re an faggit, KYS, drink bleach” ad nauseam to really dig deeper. That’s on me.
