Would not be their first ban. They'll feel right at home...

I don't know. I'm kind of new to this ban thing. All those years on Soundoff and I never been banned for anything.

Now years ago before the mass pardons, I did get perma banned on just the basketball board. When TCU beat Kansas and their fans were chanting "overrated", I made the comment that it's like walking down the street and the local screaming Down's kid opens up a window and starts calling you a retard.

Yeah he was great and I will forever be grateful. That’s why I couldn’t call him out on it there. But while he’s over there talking shit about us I don’t feel bad saying it over here.

Got ya and hadn’t noticed, some others snide comments definitely caught my eye.

Update!

One of the Yahoo reps emailed me back with a stack of "don't do the following" things and 'bout all of 'em if enforced strictly would lead to the Soundoff being a ghost town forever. I was also given another email address to contact about getting my situation resolved so now it's another hoop to jump through.

The good news is with AG here we can have great discussions about the benefits of playing only 8 conference games.

Yep, it is bad,
Couch is right on

Some of The Leftovers been saying yous guys all deserved it; had it coming all along,; and nobody will miss you guys.
So much for previous paat friendships, and loyalty.
Right out the window....

Yeah that shit kind of pisses me off and I really don't get mad about the message board stuff. Some of those people still on Soundoff don't realize just how petty a lot of the banning crap was and don't realize that they too could have easily been randomly banned as well.

I have no idea why I got banned. I had nothing to do with the TCU board, nothing to do with ****, didn't shit talk any of the powers that be and didn't veer off from my usual posting habits that have been a-ok for years now.

But he was a gracious host to you from what I recall? His schtick never bothered me but I know he was annoying to many lol.

He might be behind the entire thing, the ratting out over on TCU site,
I know short notice; I am in Manhattan, around west 63rd area, but leave tomorrow, quick trip,
I know you live over in Queens, but if you in Manhattan tonight let me know.

That an interesting standard, this "consensus" standard. By your standard, this what we get in the Poll Era (1936 to present):

1938--not AP champion TCU, but consensus champion Tennessee
1942--not AP champion Ohio State, but consensus champion Georgia
1947--not AP champion Notre Dame, but consensus champion Michigan
1950--not AP and Coaches' champion Oklahoma, but consensus champion Tenn.
1951--not AP and Coaches' champion Tenn, but consensus champion Maryland
1953--not AP and Coaches' champion Maryland, but consensus champion ND
1954--no Coaches' champion UCLA, but AP and consensus champion Ohio State
1957--no Coaches' champion OH ST, but AP and consensus champion Auburn
1960--not AP and Coaches champion Minn, but consensus champion Ole Miss
1964--not AP and Coaches' champion Alabama, but consensus champion AR
1965--not AP champion Alabama, but consensus champion MI ST
1970--no Coaches' champion Texas, but AP champion NE
1973--no Coaches' champion Alabama, but AP and consensus champion ND
1974--no Coaches' champion USC, but AP and consensus champion OU
1978--not AP champion Alabama, but Coaches' and consensus champion USC
1990--no Coaches' champion GA Tech, but AP and consensus champion CO
1991--no Coaches' champion for WA, but AP and consensus champion Miami
1997--not AP champion MI, but Coaches' and consensus champion NE
2003--no Coaches' and BCS champion LSU, but AP champion USC

I'm not sure what you're pissing about, most generally there probably should be a consenus national champion. Obviously that's not the case in some of the instances (where apparently there were differences of opinion).
I'm not sure it matters. A consensus NC meets every qualifying standard.

I think it might be fair to suggest Alabama was a consensus NC a year ago.
UCF didn't meet the standard, that's why they weren't included. But, this year, they probably should have been invited. I'm disappointed. There's really no reason (other than prejudice) probiting their inclusion this year. Last year they weren't admitted because they weren't qualified. This year they were qualfied. As far as what warrants a NC, that's subject to a lot of rules, but under the present condition it would appear the Belt (CFP) lay prominently. Which suggests UCF can claim a FULL measure of the NC simply by beating L.S.U. So, that's what they need to do, beat L.S.U. Simply leaving them out doesn't remove them from a NC potential bid.

Same here. Banned on my home board. Getting the site owner to look into it. Greg Fucking Ladky is now taking money out of his pocket...
