He's had a lot of personal and legal troubles since he retired.

He was brandishing a gun in a church and not knowing where he was. Running on foot, full-speed into moving vehicles like they weren't there, damaging them (and obviously him).

He is a textbook case of the damage that CTE can do to players and with how he played, the punishment that he took (and gave out) it was not surprising that he had a short career. I just wish he hadn't had such a short life.
