Funny I had that discussion recently with a friend and they were arguing there were plenty of RB's that had long life spans. So I asked them to name any except for Gore and they mentioned Darren Sproles.
Trying to explain to them that Gore attempted more rushes in 2 seasons vs Sproles entire 14 year career and the fact he missed a whole season just didn't sink in. So I just let it go.

Nowadays very rare for a RB to have any significance by year ten if they even make it to that year.
RBs have a 2 contract lifespan realistically.

Goff has had one good season since he was in HS, why do Ram fans think he was anything other than a flash in the pan guy? McVay could very well be a genius but since the Pats exposed him weaknesses teams used it against him and made him a slightly better Mitch Trubisky.
