Shitty. Very sad loss. Amazing man & always admired him. The game lost one of its icons today.

I remember a few years back on Thanksgiving night. The Bears and Packers were playing. They were to honor Bart Starr and Brett Favre at halftime. I had to DVR the game because I had to work that night. It was said that it could be Starr's last public appearance and if I'm not mistaken it was. I only recorded it so I could see Bart Starr one last time at Lambeau Field. Rest in peace, Bart.

Greatest QB in packer history... it’s not even close

Yup, then comes Favre, then Don Majkowski and then in 4th place it's the fruitcake, Aaron Rodgers.

They said Bart actually had to have rehab just to make that appearance. It was extremely hard for him but he wanted to honor Brett so he did what he had to do to be there.

Alot of QBs now would have have different professions if it wasn't for him. Still sucks though.

Bart Starr was my all-time favorite NFL quarterback. He was a WINNER and exemplified that all day long. He was also an extremely humble person.

The big travesty regarding him was the fact that he proved himself to be among the very best QB's in the NFL's history. yet he wasn't drafted until the SEVENTEENTH ROUND back in 1956

Sorry to hear it. One of the stars who put the NFL on the map.
