To 2 years for 1.7 M not bad if he continues to improve. He must keep up his intensity but stay out of the box to remain effective. If he can do this I like his spark.

7 goals, 11 assists, 18 points in 165 games. I know he brings a sense of grit & toughness to the team, but Rinaldo is lucky the Flyers gave him that much IMO.

I would like to see him improve defensively and cut down on penalties to become a useful defensive role player that brings a bunch of energy. I like him as a player, just needs to improve.

He's not bad defensively, he was playing some PK, his issue as you mentioned are the ill-timed penalties and his flat out lack of offense - the Flyers can't have a 4th line that has zero offense again, even if he does everything else well, he puts up zero offense and that's a problem

He does get the guys going which is a plus. He also keeps the other team honest as he'll scrap if needed. Plus his hitting is tremendous wears down the other team. Yes he stood has some things to learn but I see improvement every year.

Crazy son of a bitch was willing to tangle with Chara ,and the whole team played 2 feet taller afterwards.
As i said in another post-he reminds me of Hounddog Kelly and Eddie Shack.
