Because of that racial slur video, that whole Eagles locker room might be devided.

McCoy: I cant respect a guy like that.
And so it begins.
i havent seen it but from what i have heard about it he used the n-word in the worst way you can
what a jerk![]()
BTW - he is another proud alum of the Univ of Florida.
Based on the arrest record of their students/graduates and my impressions of Florida grads on the SportsHoopla, I think that has to be the dumbest college in America by far.
Pretty ignorant statement from Mr. Cooper. It rolled off his tongue like this wasn't the first time he said it.
Hope our guys clean his clock when we play them.
Here is my thing. You cant legislate prejudice out of existence. So we make it illegal to say the word in public. Evil kept in the dark tends to spread alot faster. I would much rather know up front the guy Im working for or with is a racist pig if thats the case. Make no mistake, Cooper isn't being punished for using the word, he is being punished for being CAUGHT using the word.

I never use the N word and can't stand it because it is so divisive.
That being said, if you suspend or hold it against him, you have to suspend every person that uses it.
I wish the media would just drop it, the guy said something stupid and apologized, now it's up to his teammates to either forgive him or not, how the Eagles respond is completely in there power and if they want to let his actions and words bother them or not.
He was not suspended - only fined which he did not dispute. They might eventually release him which is their right. You don't have to do anything illegal or immoral to be released, traded, etc. No different than say cutting someone simply because they have a major beef with the starting QB (even if the QB is completely in the wrong). It is simply the team doing what it believes is in it's own interest (maybe simply for PR reasons).
I know he hasn't been suspended yet. My point is rather obvious though. Equality means that if one person gets a punishment for saying a word, if another person says it, they should get the same exact punishment. I'd like to know if Mike Vick and "Shady" have ever used the word. I know "Ron Mexico" has.
