The Seahawks have reportedly inquired with a level of interest in Richie. The dude is a beast on the line, but MAN, this guy is a dick! Whether all, a little, or none of the reports were true out of Miami this guy is known to be a douche. With that being said, I say sign him  Pete and Tom won't put up with an attitude that overrides the team overall and will cut his ass at the drop of a dime. He's a dirtbag, but since I don't plan on hanging out with the guy I could give two shits. Any help against that Rams line should be welcomed.

He's the kind of guy you love on your team and hate on others. I'd love if my team signed him.

Not sure I'd even like him if he played for us either. I've always hated this guy. He's also a penalty taking machine. I'd say no thanks.

I would be rage mad if we signed him. The guy is arsehole(didn't want to be sent to SportsHoopla jail). He #&$^ing buiiled a teammate so far that he went to a mental instituation

AND MORE

there is no way this mentaliy challenged man(because of my disability. I don't use the r word) deserves to be a seahawks. Let alone a champion

Didnt Incognito just do what the coaches wanted him to? Try and toughen up the flower girl?

Then was thrown under the bus by the team when the SHTF?

The lockerroom can be just as important as the talent you have on your team. Putting in a guy to a championship lockerroom that is known to be a cancer to about every team he has gone to could be a recipe for disaster. Now I know the one big weakness for the Seahawks is that of the OL and bringing in a guy that has shown the ability to be above average can be worth it but have to weight the risk/reward here. I personally wouldn't want him on the Broncos if we needed a guard but there is no denying the guy does have talent. I would understand why a team would do it just don't be surprised when he does something stupid that really hurts the team.

What I remember of Incognito when he was on the Rams was that he was a penalty machine. Hated him.

No.

Very good guard, but is too much of a mental case. He's got some serious crossed wires upstairs and there is just too much at stake with this team to introduce that into the locker room right now. He should go play for the Raiders or one of the other NFL teams who don't care.

Might make better sense for him to sign with a successful team like Seattle, where he could just try to fit in rather than assert his bizarre notion of "leadership".

70s-early 80s, Al would have kicked the front door open to this guy no doubt. Team Chemistry back then included steroids, uppers, downers and no head concussions either.

RI would have fit right in.

As much as the Seahawks need some more depth on the OL, I really do not want to see this player on the team. Never liked him as player or person.

A team would truly have to be desperate to sign Incognito. As other posters have pointed, there's a high potential of hiring a lockeroom cancer. I really think his football career is over unless the CFL wanted him.

You know who should be asked and probably would be consulted. Our Seahawk Players.
They have the best gauge of the situation, we do not.

That said, I hope he NEVER joins the Seahawks. I don't care if he "has possibly changed."

I heard discussion of, you only bring him in to start, not for depth. If he starts, then how does that effect the development of Carpenter and Sweezy?

I say pass, not even taking his locker room presence into account. The guy is a personal foul just waiting to happen. Think Giacomini but worse. You could always count on at least one per game back when he was with the Rams.

Umm,,,,no thanks.

Are we that desperate that we're looking at the media circus that is Incognito? Even if he did kind of get screwed (which it sounds like he did, but he put himself in the position to begin with) he's still a clubhouse cancer that needs to be avoided at all costs. He'd need Walter Jones-like skills to overcome his 3 year old mentality.

No thanks. I know that Carroll likes to give guys second chances, but Incognito has been the same his entire career and has gotten plenty of chances already. He shouldn't be rewarded for blowing his last one. If some other team wants to give him another chance, that's their choice, but I hope the Seahawks don't even give it a second thought. I don't think they're any worse off on the offensive line than they were the last few years and they shouldn't be so desperate as to require the services of someone like Incognito.

This is a non story.

Bob Condotta came out after this rumor and said there is zero chance he is picked up. Find it on the Seattle Times Sehawks blog.

Breno was a prick also people, They are cut from the same cloth. Thing is with Breno the Coaches got him to kind of control it a little. He still was always in the middle of everything when the whistle blew, always right on the edge of getting flagged. Still i do not feel Richie is an upgrade over anyone else on the team.
