I'd take him over anyone in the league not named Rodgers, Brady, Eli, Rothlisburger.

I like the kid a lot, but I'd still take Luck over him.

why?

not saying you're wrong, just curious what makes Luck better

It's close, but from what I've watched (albeit somewhat limited) Luck just seems to have pocket presence well beyond his years. And I think Luck is doing it with a very limited roster. He strikes me as the kind of guy that is going to be one of the top quarterbacks for the better part of the decade.

I really like RGIII as well, but I don't think he is quite at Luck's level and I worry that he'll get injured because of the ways they use him. I'd be willing to bet that 'games played' may become a very important stat when evaluating the two in the future.

He may not be better statistically right at this moment, but his potential is much higher. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that RGIII is putting up better stats than Luck right now. It should've been expected. Both came into the league with the pressure of producing against NFL caliber defenses, but RGIII has his running ability to fall back on. Next year, when teams have 16 games of film on him, that won't be the case anymore.
