Okay - So I know we didn't lose to USC because of terrible defense. A lot of things went wrong, and it was apparent that it just wasn't our night with Manny Wilkins went down with a serious looking injury.
But this defense still can't do the basics. How many times was USC's best receiver, JuJu, wide open? How many yards did USC gain after we missed a tackle?
Last year we finished the year with the worst pass defense in the country, and this year has been a lot of the same. I understand we weren't projected to be as good as we are, and if were just some small things we needed to correct, than I'd be okay.
Graham is a defensive minded coach, and he needs to be embarrassed with how poorly this team has done the basics. I say fire the DC Keith Patterson, and promote someone who can teach this guys how to tackle.
