there really is so much stuff nowadays. i finally quit on Supernatural this year. It was a long time coming, but they finally broke me from thinking I was pot committed to knowing I was playing a losing hand.

for whatever reason, i think the only new show on basic cable i'm watching is god friended me. guess i just need some saccharine to even out the past week

i mean, what else do you watch? (so I can get a feel for your tastes)

not counting shows on hulu/amazon/netflix

I don't know how well this well work out on a holiday week, but i'll look through the upcoming recordings. (and i went to the following week to add some more).

Simpsons
Bobs Burgers
Family Guy
Walking Dead
Last Week Tonight

The Neighborhood (meh, nothing else is on, I finally stopped watching the one with Damon Wayans Jr, since it just made no sense at all)
Manifest (still haven't watched it)
Feel like Elementary is on Mondays at a certain time of the year

The Conners (again, nothing else on)
The Kids Are Alright (okay, this is a new show I'm actually liking)
Jersey Shore, no comments needed, I know
Tosh.0
The Guest Book (TBS has some solid shows, just got on to Wrecked this past year)
The Jim Jefferies Show
Lethal Weapon, I'll miss it, hope they can add another show in the vein of this or Human Target

Modern Family
Single Parents (usually doing something else while this is playing)
South Park
A Million Little Things (I missed out on the last of us movement, this is my weekly cry)
Conan without borders Japan

I Feel Bad (that's as far as my scheduled recordings go, luke warm on this show as well, but the glaring omissions I know off the top of my head from above are The Good Place and Superstore, two of the best comedies on right now in my mind.

I watch most everything and anything, 5 years ago (maybe more) there would have been a handful of USA and SyFy shows here, don't know what happened to that programming.

That said, Netflix/Amazon/Hulu do offer a lot as well. Haven't watched the second season of Sneaky Pete yet, nor wrapped up the latest Daredevil. Haven't checked out the latest House of Cards, new Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is starting soon (took me so long to check it out, as the picture for it had me thinking period piece, but damn, was I pleasantly surprised).

Definitely watch daredevil first.

I’ll jsut say manifest hasn’t lived up to the hype IMO. It was supposed to be the blockbuster, but if you didn’t like “the event” on nbc a few years ago, I’m not sure you’ll dig this.

i watched like an episode and a half of the event and said ,nope.

the daredevil season is really trying me, as i always hate the trope where the hero is wrongly miscategorized as the villain,if that makes sense.

Ok. Then delete.

Manifest reminds me of the event.

Yeah I get it. Although at least this one was actually well done. It’s still kinda cliche

I have like two episodes or so to go on it, so i've watched most of it, the fact dude is already living like a boss and they're building it up like he's about to get off scot free, then the fact the whole entire FBI is in his pocket, meh.

As I said in the dd thread that was a major plot hole.

In DD2 they said he used the last of his reserves to get Frank castle into his jail.

my bad, i didn't catch that thread. i watch too much stuff and the stuff that isn't weekly, i binge very poorly that i can't keep up with it to the level that it may be talked about at the time.

No worries. I wasn’t rebuking you. Just stating that I found that flaw while watching dd3

they need to bring back Happy Endings
It's time has passed. Granted, looking at everyone's credits, not much else going on. Though I may check out Future Man now that I've heard of it. Champaign ILL and Black Monday may also have potential.
