Remember when it was said LeBron has never played for a good HC?

Most of the guys he's played for have proven their worth without him...

Spo - Widely considered a top 10/15 coach of all-time after two finals appearances after LeBron.

Lue - Not many in the game today are better at managing egos, as shown by the jobs he's done w/ the Clippers.

Mike Brown - COY after leading the Sacramento Kings to their first playoff appearance since I was in high school.

Vogel - His story is still incomplete, but the Suns have played well given the circumstances given by their new reckless ownership.

Weird thread when LeBron has the worst coach he's ever had right now

Also when was it said? 15 years ago? Because no one said it after he went to the Heat.

I get it though. LeBron haters are running out of things to hate him about.

in most cases-Lebron is his own coach
often overrides the words of his coaches--not really a good thing but it obviously has worked pretty good over the years

The point is more about the guys mentioned that it is about LeBron.

Darvin Ham did a nice job last year... Those calling for his head shouldn't give up on him this early in his head coaching career simply because he's in a big market w/ big names.

Then no need to mention LeBron

What makes you think he'll ever be good? Seems pretty useless.

Weren't the Lakers the #12 seed for most of last season that he dug them out of???

Bucks should give him a shot if Doc proves to be too much of a retread...

The GM dug them out with some great trades. Come on man.

The problem is that the Lakers don’t have time to let a young coach figure things out.

Their time is right now.

It is a bad fit.

You don’t hire a rookie coach and let them grow into the job when you have an aging roster built around LeBron. It makes no sense at all.

1) He’s not that young.

2) He’s got a ring as an assistant as recently as 2021.

3) Find me an available coach that could be successful under their current cloud of circumstances. I’ll wait… I’m sure Brett Brown is available and I know how much you “loved” him with the Sixers.

Pelinka sure is good at finding retread misfits like Spencer Dinwiddie and Christian Wood… That much is for sure.
Conceding on Darvin Ham, good idea

It is too late to fire Ham this close to the playoffs.

They shouldn’t have hired him to begin with.

And no. I never even liked Brett Brown. Don’t know what you are talking about.

An aging LeBron on the Lakers is definitely a tough spot to get your first gig.

WCF appearance and won the in season and the narrative is already he blows.

But first gig out of the way, whenever it ends.

he's got 2 of the 20 best players in league. When AD and Lebron are cooking you could make an argument for 2 of 10 or 15.

The pieces around them are a rough fit at times and injuries haven't helped but when the data screams at you in certain situations and you ignore it... well that's pretty wild.

It's where I feel the most angst wirh Monty. Xs and Os are one thing but when you constantly play an all bench lineup that has easily cost you 5 to 7 wins.... well that's a problem to put it mildly.

It’s not a hard argument for 2 of the best 15 imo.

AD should’ve been better than he is a while ago.

He’s a better player than Embiid, but he doesn’t seem to care to make everyone realize it.
