Just like last year, the entire offense became predictable and boring in the 2nd half once we lost Bush. Gotta love Linehan and his ability to piss away this game. He's single handedly ruining Stafford's career.

Why didn't we try Riddick in Bush's role for a bit?

I'm thinking maybe it was due to the player's skill-sets to why he dialed it down.

The league has seen everything Linehan has to show. He busted as Rams HC trying to do all the same things he's been trying to do here for the past 5 years. He's got nothing new to show the other 31 DC's in this league. The Lions offense is clearly talent driven and not scheme driven. If we don't have the top guys out there, it's comes to a screaming halt.

Linehan is not a "next man up " OC where his scheme is so good that guys can come in and come out and it never misses a beat. We literally need all of our 1st rounders and top FA's to play their best game every week to make it work. Maybe the drops have to with the shitty scheme that forces these receivers to catch passes with defensive players draped all over them because the play calls for a 2 yard out on 4th and fucking 4!! How many deep bombs to Calvin have we seen in the past two weeks? Zero??

The Lions O is a lot like the Pats O. Receivers are expected to turn short catches into long runs. And because of this, the receivers are never really given a chance to try and create separation. Ever notice how quickly Stafford gives up on a play when it breaks down? It's because everyone is just standing around trying to catch the ball at the snap and run 80 yards with it. The league has seen everything Linehan has to show. If Bush goes down the Lions are fucked because the O is dependent on him, not our OC.

That shit is fine in Q1. You cant throw 3 yard passes on third in 5 constantly in the second half. When you are running short on time, you damn well better call a play that will make the first down if executed.

Was Riddick even on the 53 man roster or was he inactive?

Bell looked like well a second team guy and Pettigrew minus one good catch is killing the offense as a receiver.

You guys will get well next week playing the worst tackling secondary/ LB's I have ever seen.

I am sorry but Detroit has a way of making teams with problems look good. A sorta get well card to the NFL!

Seriously how many playmakers does this offense have that linehan and schwartz handicap by dumb plays. Still waiting for the burleson reverse for 2 to -8 yards.
