I'm sold. Dude seems matured both mentally and physically. He's got the right attitude about winning and about being a team player. He's in the best O he can be in at this point in his career.
Lions were 5-0 coming off a MNF win over the Bears until Best went down with his final concussion, and have been struggling mightily since. Leshoure and Pettigrew failed to open up the middle of the field last year leaving Megatron blanketed in all 16 games. Bush should be able to change all of that, taking pressure of Pettigrew and allowing Leshoure to be the goal line back he was drafted to be.
On top of all of that, we have addition by subtraction with Titus Young, who was obviously hurting the O a lot more then we knew at the time. So I have high hopes.
I have to admit that I hated this guy worse than any athlete alive for years but he seems totally different now. Just like Rob said he's "matured both mentally and physically." From everything I've seen and heard him say, all the Kardashian, Hollywood, South Beach, etc. bullshit is over and it's time to fuckin play hard and win. I think he sense something could happen in Detroit.
I'm trying to come up with any reason why I shouldn't be a closet Lions fan but between so many former Titans there and my all-time devotion to Schwarzy, I think you're my NFC team this year. I think it could happen.
I didn't realize Bush rushed for an average of 1k over the last two seasons. That kind of production is what could stablize our offensive attack. He has been durable. He is speedy. All things that we have not had much of in the last decade all rolled into one.
I'm completely stoked to have Reggie here. A lot of people didn't like him, be it bc he went to U$C, got paid there, or bc theyvthinkbhes a prick(what basis for that I'm not sure). Either way, I have always loved his play making abilities. They weren't always on full display, but I think he's grown as a player and now knows what he's capable of.
Can hit the holes with good vision and common sense to bounce to the outside if holes closed. Good quickness and moves to make defenders miss and the ability to take to the house. Good hands for the Lions aerial assault to boot. Dan Mario lacked a running game in his quest for a ring. Just sayin'
my dad and i subsist on honlulu blue kool aid.
so get ready, here it comes.
we are going to the super bowl, probably going to win as well.
new DE, new and healthy DBs, improved oline, and finally the combo back this offense so desperately needs.
when we had best we were amazing and the offense was clicking on a whole other level. broyles will come back burleson is healthy and yeah records are made to be broken
