Meaning it is harder.
Which is harder. (an exaggeration for effect) beating a playoff team once in a row or 5 times in a row?
Laws of averages will dictate the answer every time.

I do think it is. Factors to take into consideration: 1. The team that won the first two games are they perhaps over confident or a bit complacent thinking they'll win again? 2. If the team that lost the first two games, isn't smart enough to try to do something different in the third match-up then that's history repeating itself.
