After what we have been through with pitching injuries I don't blame you, but the team did expect him to be back before then. What I am concerned with is that the injury is not getting better at the pace that the team's doctors expected it to regardless of what any of us expected. I am concerned that the injury may be much worse than they originally thought it was. Brandon Webb had an injury in that same area that he never recovered from. I am concerned that he might not pitch again this year and there is a slight concern that I have that this could be career threatening.
I guess it could be career threatening, however I think the Rangers medical staff tend to understate recovery time in most cases. I don't think precaution is an issue and I don't really foresee it too bad at this stage or he would be shut down completely for the year. Look for him mid September
